Couples Counselling

A close up shot of a couple holding hands.

The relationship you want is worth fighting for together.

You love each other, but something's not working. Maybe it's the same argument on repeat. The distance that crept in. The feeling that you're roommates instead of partners. You didn't plan for this but you're here, and that says something.

Sarah Deering a Queenstown relationship therapist.

Sarah works with couples who are ready for something to change.

As an Advanced Imago Relationship Therapist, she helps you understand why you trigger each other, how to actually hear what the other person is saying, and how to turn conflict into connection. No taking sides. No judgement. Just real, practical tools.

Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes, in person in Queenstown or online via Zoom. Sarah works with you both, guiding structured conversations that help you move from defensiveness to understanding. Extended 90-minute sessions allow deeper Imago Relationship Therapy work.

What to expect:

Imagine communicating without it turning into a fight. Feeling heard, really heard by the person who matters most. Reconnecting with why you chose each other in the first place. That’s not a fantasy. It’s what this work makes possible.
