Not sure which workshop is right for you?
Couples Workshop
Getting the Love You Want is for couples ready to deepen their connection, work through conflict, or rediscover what brought them together. You attend together as a pair.
Individual Workshop
Keeping the Love You Find is for individuals, single, separated, married, or somewhere in between who want to understand their own patterns and show up differently in every relationship.
Some frequently asked questions:
-
Not at all. The workshops are designed to meet you wherever you are, no prior therapy or experience is needed. Everything is guided, supportive, and explained as you go.
-
That's more common than you'd think and it's okay. If you'd like to attend on your own, the Keeping the Love You Find workshop for individuals is a powerful alternative. You'll gain invaluable relationship insight and practical tools, regardless of whether your partner attends. Many people find that the changes they make individually have a ripple effect on their relationships.
-
Only if you choose to. Throughout the workshop, you'll share privately with your partner (couples) or work through personal reflections (individuals). There are live demonstrations during the workshop, but these are only carried out by people who volunteer. You'll never be put on the spot.
-
Workshops are intentionally kept intimate, usually around 6 to 8 couples for the couples workshop, or 12 to 18 individuals. This means you get a personal, supportive experience rather than being lost in a crowd.
-
Each day runs from 9am to 5.30pm and is a blend of guided exercises, structured discussions, and psychoeducation. There are morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea breaks built in. It's full but never rushed, the pace is designed to give you space to absorb and process.
-
Yes, in fact, many couples attend at their most difficult point and find the workshop transformative. However, if you are currently in crisis, it is highly recommended that you attend a minimum of three sessions with Sarah (or another Imago Therapist) before the workshop. This ensures you have some foundational support in place to get the most out of the experience.
-
The Keeping the Love You Find workshop is designed specifically for individuals whether you're single, separated, divorced, widowed, or in a relationship and wanting to understand yourself more deeply. You don't need to be in a couple to do this work.
-
Your fee includes a comprehensive take-home workbook, morning and afternoon tea on both days, and free parking at the venue.
-
You'll receive follow-up resources and support via email after attending either workshop. Sarah is also developing group follow-up sessions via Zoom to help you maintain momentum, details to come. And of course, private sessions with Sarah are always available if you'd like to continue the work one-on-one.
