Twins & Siblings Counselling

Twin boys sitting on the beach side by side looking out to the ocean.

Growing up side by side is a gift and sometimes a challenge.

Sibling relationships - especially twin relationships carry a unique complexity. The closeness, the comparison, the unspoken expectations. Whether you're working on building individual identity, strengthening bonds, or navigating the tensions that come with a lifetime of shared experience, this is deeply personal work.

Sarah brings something rare to this space… she's a twin herself.

She doesn't just understand sibling dynamics professionally; she's lived them. That personal experience, combined with her expertise as a Relationship Therapist, gives her a depth of insight that few counsellors can offer. She works with siblings, twins, and their families to find greater understanding, connection, and individual confidence.

Sessions can involve siblings together, individually, or with family members - whatever the situation calls for. Sarah tailors the approach to your specific dynamic and goals. In person in Queenstown or via Zoom.

Speaking Engagements:

Sarah is also available to speak at sibling gatherings, family-focused events, and multiple-birth conferences sharing insights drawn from both her personal experience as a twin and her professional expertise as a Relationship Therapist.

What to expect:

Imagine celebrating what makes you unique while honouring what connects you. Understanding each other’s differences with empathy instead of frustration. Growing into your own identity without losing the bond. That’s what this work creates space for.
